Recommended Leather Care

If necessary, clean immediately with mild soap with no additives (non-concentrated) diluted in lukewarm distilled or purified water on a soft clean white towel. Always try to clean in a small hidden area first. This cleaning method is recommended for corrected leathers, not for natural grades of leather.

For oil, grease, or stubborn stains consult a Professional Leather Care company.

Does not use bleach, oily substance, or strong detergent (including laundry detergents).

Keep ink, fluids, body oils, chemicals and sharp objects away from upholstery.

Exposure of leather to direct sunlight or extreme light sources may cause fading and damage.

Do not use any heat lamps or hair dryers on the leather.

Do not place over or near a direct heat source.

General Care

Vacuum frequently using a soft brush attachment. Spot clean only with water based upholstery shampoo or foam upholstery cleaner. Do not over wet. Do not use solvents or bleach to spot clean. Keep ink, fluids, body oils, chemicals and sharp objects away from upholstery. Blot spoils immediately with a clean cloth or sponge and let air dry. Never use a hair dryer. Avoid placing your furniture in direct sunlight. All materials fade over time when placed in direct sunlight and/or heating sources.

Having something break is never good, but properly identifying the issue or simply supplying the correct information can help expedite its repair.

Assuming this is a power recliner, ensure the power outlet is working properly by plugging in a known working device such as a lamp and test if it works.

Make sure the power cord is not underneath the furniture as it can cause crimps and cuts.

Follow the power cord to the back of the furniture checking for any cuts or crimps and that it is securely plugged in. Continue checking the cables under the furniture to ensure all are free of defects and connected securely.

Often there are LED lights on the furniture components such as the transformer, power switch, or charging station that will illuminate if they are receiving power. If any are not lit, then it would indicate the power is not flowing up to that point.
If all the wiring is good and lights are lit but the furniture still isn’t working or you are unable to identify a specific component that is broken, then you may require the help of a professional to troubleshoot and repair the furniture.

If you are needing to order parts for the furniture, please have the product information available. This is found under the furniture or on extension arm of the metal recliner mechanism.

If you are looking to order parts, please send the request to aftersales@manwahusa.com Be sure to include the product information, part you are looking to order, and any images or video that would be helpful in the process.
